Eric and Jack, the Alphabet Wizards
Eric is 22 months old. He suddenly knows all the letters of the alphabet. Not in order, but he can tell you what letter you point to or pick out the magnetic letter you ask him to. I am impressed and scared at the same time, since we didn’t teach him. Jack and Eric now LOVE to bring magnetic letters to us and tell us what they are. Parenthood is surprizing and fun in ways you would never have guessed.
Peace
Darrel
P.s. I just tested them with steak sauces. Jack can successfully name HP, Ketchup, Heinz 57, and Bull’s Eye (or cow sauce as he calls it). Eric can pick out HP. Now those are boys after my heart!

Dangerous, but Mostly Harmless Boys
This is a cute picture my Mom took of the boys. If you can’t see what they are reading, Jack is reading “The Dangerous Book for Boys” that Dale and Tina gave them and Eric is reading “Mostly Harmless” a novel by Douglas Adams. After this week, it seems very fitting.
