Today was Eric’s Birthday. He is the big 02. Kirsten and I got him this excavator and Jack got an identical one from his Nan. Lucky boys ;). Of course later, Eric used his to try to stand on so he could get to the left over birthday cake.

Sleep is a funny thing. Had a bit of a migraine last night, couldn’t sleep. Ended up getting less than 3 hours sleep last night. Any of you who know my sleeping patterns these days will know that if I am not in bed by 10:00, I am a zombie.
Last night the kids were up a couple times, they have been sick, so it made it easier to actually help Kirsten with them. Get up to go to work, not as tired as I thought, but I know I will crash later.
During the day Kirsten calls, she is getting sick too, and now that you mention it I am getting all achy too, not good. I thought all the nausea was from the migraine.
Have a couple errands to run after work so I do. Get home, tired, achy, but not like I thought I would be.
Have supper, getting kids ready from bed, we have a family prayer. Next thing I know I am starting to dream. The I hear Kirstens voice,” Darrel, DARREL ….” I wake up, look at her blankly and say, “what honey?”. She says, “You were saying the prayer.” That’s right folks, I actually fell asleep saying a prayer!
So you would think I would crash and go to bed. You will notice this was posted at 10:30. Nope, I went out to the car to work on it and see how far towards finishing fixing it I could get. Pretty much finished the car and now I am blogging. Don’t get me wrong, I am one conscious effort from being asleep on the keyboard. My body aches all over. I am happy. I am not entirely sure why, but I don’t care. Happiness is bliss.
